The Christian Education Ministry is excited to have this opportunity of ministry at Galilee. During this historical time in the history of Galilee, as we continue to grow, we are committed to our mission of educating the Church body and fostering discipleship through God’s inspired word. For as 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 reminds us, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
We believe the closer we are to God the more committed we are to the work of the kingdom. In our effort to meet our commitment we have the following classes that are offered here at Galilee:
Church School Classes:
9:40 AM each Sunday
- Beginners (ages 3-5)
- Primaries (ages 6-8)
- Juniors (ages 9-11)
- Teens (ages 12- High school)
- College/Young Adult Class
- Marriage God’s Way Class
- Adult Class
- Adult Men
Bible Study (weekly):
- Tuesday Night - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday - 12:00 Noon
- Wednesday Night - 6:30 PM
- Wednesday Night (Youth in Christ) - 6:30 PM
We look forward to adding to these opportunities in the upcoming year. It is our prayer that the Church family would take advantage of these opportunities of study. The word of God is vital to the life of Christians and we endeavor to encourage the Church family and aid in its growth through the word, that each would pursue a life that glorifies God.
| Volunteer Opportunities in Christian Education | |
The GMBC Christian Education ministry is currently looking for a few more teachers to complete our teaching team, and we are making a church-wide call. If you feel a call to teach, or aid in teaching a class, please contact Sis. Theretha Werts or Sis. Gail Berry. Don't be afraid if you've never taught before; whom God calls, He will also equip. You can make a difference in someone's life.
We are looking for persons who believe they have been called to work with our youth. You must have a love for God and his word, a love for children, be committed, dedicated, patient and energetic. We are currently looking for teachers and volunteers for the following youth classes:
- Nursery
- Youth Assembly (currently scheduled for 1st and 4th Sunday)
- Wednesday Night Youth in Christ
- Teaching opportunities are available for adult classes, as well
Come join us in this life-changing opportunity to be used of God, and to share with others His life giving, life sustaining word.
